As the founder and CEO of Zariya Social Welfare Foundation (ZSWF), I am honored to share our journey in battling the pervasive issue of hunger and its ramifications. Originally conceived by Parveen Saeed of Khana Ghar, our team, inspired by her impactful work, set out to establish ZSWF—an initiative committed to providing high-quality, affordable meals to the underprivileged.
Our dedicated team, comprising individuals from diverse backgrounds, works passionately to address Pakistan’s most pressing problem: hunger and its consequent societal challenges. Guided by the vision of creating a world where no one sleeps with an empty stomach, we extend our services to those in need, particularly in the far-flung areas of Karachi.
Our approach is simple yet powerful: offering nutritious meals at an affordable cost of Rs 10 for takeaways, six days a week during lunch hours. This not only feeds the hungry but also empowers them to redirect their limited resources toward other essential needs. By adopting this model, we aim to eradicate the grip of hunger and the associated social issues.
ZSWF invites everyone to join us in our mission to eliminate hunger and its adverse effects on our society. With your support, we can make a substantial impact on the lives of the underprivileged. By partnering with us, you contribute to addressing immediate physical needs, taking action in Karachi’s slum areas, and developing long-term solutions.
Our achievements are a testament to the collective power of compassion and action. Together, let’s strive for a future where no one goes to bed hungry, where the impact of poverty is diminished, and where the collaborative spirit of Zariya Social Welfare Foundation resonates in every corner of our society.
Sincerely, Ms. Farheen Moazzam Danyaal
